        For the social, educational and cultural upliftment of women folk of the society, ‘Bhartiya Sanskritik Kendra’, a registered society dedicated to social service, had decided to establish and run a B.Ed. College for  women after the name of great educationist & visionary Prof. Ram Nath Pandey, Ex Professor of Hindi in the university of Bombay & Ex Minister, Cultural Affairs, Govt. of Maharashtra.

Pro Ramnath Pandey was an out standing educationst, patriot, Gandhist, social reformer and an staunch advocate of women-empowerment & education. During his tenure as a professor in th field of Hindi Literature. People of Maharashtra often remember and recall the contribution made by Prof. Ram Nath pandey in the field of Women education, Child education, cultural amelioration of the downtrodden and the marginalized sections of the society while serving as the minister of cultural affairs in the Govt. of Maharashtra. In fact his entire life was devoted to the education and the upgradation of the society.
It was the dream of Prof. Ramnath Pandey to establish an Institute wholly concentrated to the education of women folk. He believed that the competent and the capable Women teachers play apivotal role in shaping, creating and building the future of the society.
In the light of the golden princip0les cherished by Prof. Pandey throughout life, the society ‘Bhartiy Sanskritik Kendra’ has decided that such a women’s Teachers Institute (B.Ed.) be established after his name from where knowledgeable & well trained women teachers may emerge and eliminate the gloom of the society.
